About Me
Hello and welcome to Enoree Career Center. My name is Adam Massey, and this is my third year as an Assistant Director at Enoree Career Center. I hold undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Sports Management from the University of South Carolina. I earned my Master's degree in Occupational Education from the University of Georgia and my Master's degree in Administration from the University of South Carolina.
Before moving to Enoree, I spent seven great years as an Assistant Principal at Mauldin High. Before that, I spent nine years in the classroom as a Business Education teacher at Greer High School. I had the pleasure of teaching multiple business classes, including Virtual Enterprise, a business simulation class that allows students to own and operate their own company in a classroom learning environment. As a teacher, I was named the GCSD Emerging Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2009 and was the First Runner-up for GCSD Teacher of the Year in 2014.
I met my wife Brandi as a Senior at Blue Ridge High in 1996, and we have been together for 29 years and married for 25 years. Brandi is also in education and served 16 years in the elementary classroom before moving to a position at the District Office. She is an English Language Arts Academic Specialist and an adjunct lecturer at Clemson University. Our daughter Alyssa is a 2020 graduate of Blue Ridge High and is currently a Senior at the University of South Carolina, where she is enrolled in the Honors College. She is majoring in Nursing and plans to pursue a career in Labor and Delivery. Our son Alex is a class of 2022 graduate of Blue Ridge High and Bonds Career Center, where he earned his Firefighting certification. He is currently enrolled at Greenville Tech, working to earn his EMT Certification. We still live in the Blue Ridge area and enjoy being active in the community.
We enjoy being outside and traveling as a family in our free time. We are avid supporters of the University of South Carolina and enjoy attending games and tailgating with our family and friends. We are also a crazy Disney family, taking at least one trip to Orlando to visit Mickey and his pals yearly! My wife and I have a bucket list of Disney trips, including Disney Paris and Tokyo Disney.
I am excited to help and support your student in any way I can. Don't hesitate to contact me at 355-7425 if I can do anything to serve you. Have a great day, and get to work!
