STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO FOLLOW SCHOOL RULES AS LAID OUT IN THE HANDBOOK. I EXPECT THE FOLLOWING:

1. Be kind, courteous, and respectful of others.

• Do not talk while I am teaching or talking. You will not hinder another student’s education.

• Keep your hands and feet to yourself.

• Do not talk while others are talking, disrupt class, talk excessively, or make unnecessary comments.

2. Be on time. You must be in your assigned spot when the tardy bell rings.

3. Be fully prepared for class.

• Complete all assignments given.

4. Give your undivided attention to this class for the entire 90 minutes you are in class.

• Put all other materials away.

• No food, drink, or gum allowed (with the exception of water in a closed container).

• You may be excused to use the restroom only during classwork activity time. Otherwise you should stay in your seat, especially during instruction.

Consequences

The tardy policy is outlined in the handbook.

Other disruptive actions will result in the following:

1st offense—Teacher warning

2nd offense— 2nd Teacher warning 

3rd offense – Parent contact

4th offense or more— Teacher Detention or Administration Referral 

Any severe disruption will result in immediate referral to Administration.
