Welcome to Mr. Catoe's Website

I am a first year teacher at J.L. Mann High School. I worked in the civil engineering industry for 15 years. I worked and lived as an engineer in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from Presbyterian College and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. I am originally from Tampa, Florida. During summers I always worked as a camp counselor at my hometown church camp Cedarkirk. I learned a great deal about kids, teaching, and group dynamics while working there. I enjoy LEGO, reading, writing, video games, and playing guitar. It is my goal to inspire and support students and create confidence within the field of mathematics and problem solving.
