Classroom Management

Classroom expectations

In order to provide my students with the excellent educational climate they deserve, I have developed the following classroom discipline plan that will be in effect at all times:

1. Be honest and responsible.

2.  Use kind words.

3.  Listen and follow directions.

4. Raise your hand to speak

5.  Treat others with respect.

6. Keep your area clean.

7. Work hard and play safely.

8. Be brave and try new things.

9. Learn from your mistakes.

10. Make thoughtful decisions.

11. Do your best.

12. Believe in yourself.

Core Belief About Violation of Class and School Rules

I want students to:

1.      Be responsible for owning and solving their own problems, with some guidance.

2.      Face logical consequences instead of punishment, whenever possible.

3.      Learn to make connections between their infraction and the action taken-a logical connection.

4.      Learn to make decisions and then live with the consequences of those decisions.
