About Me

This is my fifth year teaching and I couldn't be more excited to have your child in my class.My first year, I taught kindergarten at Mauldin Elementary. This is my fourth year teaching at Bethel!! I LOVE being a Bethel Cardinal! I graduated from the University of South Carolina-Upstate with a Bachelor’s in Business. After working in the business world for several years, I had my first child and decided to become a stay-at-home mom. As I watched my children grow and learn each day, I found a strong passion for teaching. I began substituting in my children’s preschool and decided to go back to school to earn my teaching certification. I earned my Early Childhood Certification from the same school. Throughout the past seven years, I have worked in various settings such as substitute teaching and as a preschool special education aide. My husband and I recently celebrated our 15th anniversary this summer. Our children are Jenna (11), Hailey (10), and Kenzie (5). Jenna will be in 6th grade at Hillcrest Middle. Hailey will be in 5th grade and Kenzie will be in Kindergarten at Bethel Elementary. As a family, we enjoy going to the lake and spending time with family and friends. We also love to watch football! My husband is a Tarheel and I am a Gamecock, so we like to joke with each other about who the real Carolina is!
