About Me

Hi everyone! I am originally from Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and moved to Greenville five years ago. I taught 7th grade Civics for four years and this is my sixth year teaching South Carolina History at Beck. I obtained my Master's in History from Florida State University and my B.A. in History from the University of Central Florida. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband traveling and being outdoors. We have a stuffed reindeer named Rudy who joins us on our travels. He has hiked the Mist Trail in Yosemite and went on our 8th grade Washington, D.C. field trip! I also have a cat named Juno, and I just love her so much! Be prepared to hear about her all the time :)

• I'm on a mission to travel to all the National Parks located in the continental U.S. 

• The American Revolution and Reconstruction are my favorite historical time periods 

• The ccurrent historical topic I am researching is the Holocaust and I will be going to Poland next summer to learn more
