Meet Miss C

My name is Courtney Capelli, and I am so excited to be your child's third grade teacher this year! The 2019-2020 school year marks my ninth year in education! I love being a part of the PRES family.

I am originally from Greenville, so teaching in this county is extremely rewarding for me. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University, and have also completed graduate-level work in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) through Clemson as well. Needless to say, I'm a HUGE Tiger fan :) - GO TIGERS!!! I am licensed as a highly qualified teacher in the state of South Carolina to teach grades second through sixth. Throughout my career thus far, I have been on multiple leadership teams, conducted different teacher training sessions, served as a digital and literacy model classroom, and have been named as a Greenville County Schools mentor teacher.

When I'm not in the classroom, you can usually find me at Whole Foods, Target (my two favorite stores), or spending time with my family and friends. I also LOVE everything about fall, and attempt to spend as much time as possible outside during those short few months! Another thing I'm very passionate about is health and wellness, so I am also a certified Health Coach, licensed through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I'm excited about all of the possibilities to come in the wellness field, and equally as thrilled to merge education and wellness together!
