About Me

I am beginning my 25th year of teaching, and I am excited to be returning to Wade Hampton High School! I am a graduate of JL Mann High School, I earned my Bachelor of Science Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Furman University, and I have my Master of Education degree from Southern Wesleyan University. I have been teaching at WHHS since the fall of 2014.

I am a national board certified teacher in mathematics, and I have completed my Google Educator Level 1 and Level 2 certifications. I am excited to be part of the digital leadership team at Wade Hampton, and I look forward to learning more.

My husband is a high school science teacher, and we have two children (ages 12 and 14), a dog, and a bearded dragon. We enjoy doing all sorts of outdoor activities together as a family. 

This year, I am teaching AP Computer Science Principles in the fall. During spring semester, I am teaching Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Computer Science A, and AP Calculus AB. I am looking forward to working with you as you learn this year!
