It is a stressful place to be when you are concerned about your child's physical and mental well-being. You do not have to go through this alone. My purpose and passion is providing support and encouragement to students and families in need. Helping teens find their way while improving their self-esteem and functioning is part of it. My experiences working with teens and families--meeting them where they are--spans a decade. Above all I value building connections with students and families as part of providing therapeutic services.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker, Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) and have experience treating anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, suicidality and related disorders. My approach is strengths based, helping students and families build on their strengths and improve overall functioning. I am trained in the following treatment modalities: art therapy interventions, solution focused interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy interventions, motivational interviewing skills and trauma focused interventions.

Certifications:

ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD- CCSP)

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with experience working with students dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and other related barriers. I work by keeping compassion in mind, doing my best to meet students and families where they are. I believe in working with the strengths students already have and using those to build on, with the ultimate goal being that the student feels supported as we work to overcome barriers to their mental well-being. Above all, I value building relationships with students and families while providing therapeutic services.

I understand that mental health and well-being can be a cause of concern and stress for both students and their families. My passion is providing support and encouragement for students and families through therapy. Mental health is so important, and I am here to help students find their way as they navigate their life – no matter the presenting problem.
