If your student can not type on a form in Google Classroom

Your student should be able to type directly on activities in their Google Classroom.  However, if not, they will have to make their own copy to work on.  Have your student go to file at the top, make their own copy.  Then, rename the document under their name and save it to their google drive.  Next, after they have finished the work, they will need to hit share at the top right corner and put in the teachers name.

Chromebooks do not automatically update.  To check that Chrome is up to date, click on the 3 dots in Google.  Select the SETTINGS option.  Select ABOUT CHROME OS and CHECK FOR UPDATES.  The current version is 93.  If it is running 92 or lower, it needs to be updated.
