SERVICE

The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.
Taking a test can be a nerve-wracking experience. Knowing what to expect can help to reduce those pre-test jitters. Here’s your chance to see sample ASVAB test questions for each of the 10 subtests.

COLLEGE

Navy JROTC Cadets can prepare for the ACT and SAT test by taking practice exams, working through tutorials, and focusing on areas needing improvement. This college test prep is free for JROTC cadets.
The ACT is a standardized test used for college admissions in the U.S. and covers English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. The number of correct answers converts to a score ranging from 1 to 36 on each test—and the composite score is the average of all four tests.
The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. You simply earn points for the questions you answer correctly. SAT scores can range from 400-1600.

CAREER

South Carolinians have been using SCOIS since 1977 to prepare for careers that are in demand. SCOIS is used in all grades K-12 as well as post secondary institutions, and guides you to state and national job openings. Students who use SCOIS can better prepare their Individualized Graduation Plans (IGPs.)
This career personality test uses Myers and Briggs' theory of 16 personality types, combined with the Holland Code system of career typing, to measure the personality traits and interests that point to an ideal career path. JROTC offers this testing service to Sophomore Cadets for professional development
