About Me

My name is Jeff Vandergrift and I am originally from West Virginia, graduating high school in 1984. I moved to Houston, Texas in 1988 where I met my wife Tina in 1990. We were married in 1993 and we have two children. We moved to South Carolina in 1996 and both kids graduated from the Greer High School.

I have been in Manufacturing business for 37 years working with chemicals to mattresses to computers and finally to my last job of 23 years in a machine shop, producing housings to gears on CNC machines. I ran vertical milling machines, surface grinders, lathes, hobs, shavers, and broaches. I programmed all my machines and I was one of five certified trainers in my plant of 325 employees. I resigned from my position at ABB/Dodge/Reliance on Sept. 25 2020 and accepted my position at Bonds to prepare the next generation of machine operators/machinists in the exciting stable career in Machine Tooling Technology.
