ABOUT ME
My name is Ms. Johnson- Canada, and I will be your Literacy Lab (Read 180) Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. I have been a Special Education teacher for 13 years, two in the Maryland/Washington DC area, six in Houston, Texas, and five here at JL Mann. I grew up in Monrovia, Liberia (Located in West Africa) for the first fourteen years of my life, and migrated to Spartanburg SC where I completed my secondary schooling. Later, I moved to Maryland where I attended college, and began my career as a special education teacher. After that, I moved to Houston, Texas, and I'm now back in the Carolinas.
