At-Home Art Resources
Here are the 2019-2020 distance learning activities if you are looking for extra ways to get creative!
Looking for a FUN art activity that requires NO art materials?
Let’s get inspired by artist Demont Pinder who is a contemporary artist (that means he is still alive) that uses clothes to make portraits of famous people! The 4 pictures above are Pinder’s work. He sometimes even hides himself in his artwork- can you spot him? You can find him on Instagram if you want to see more of his work!
The other pictures are student examples I found on the internet- you can create animals, people, food, landscapes, or even recreate famous artwork!
I would LOVE to see what you create so be sure to send me pictures!
Weekly Drawing Ideas:
Hello artist friends- you will be following along in this video with art teacher Ms. Stephens for step by step instructions on how to make a monochromatic (one color) self portrait (a picture of you). Watch the whole video and create your self portrait on square white paper (if you are able). Use whatever materials you have access to but make sure it is monochromatic!
