I am married to Brad Carey, who is an engineer at G.E. I have three children. My oldest daughter has taught kindergarten in California and is now a media specialist for an elementary school in Scotland. My son is working as a Computer Engineering, and living in Columbia, SC. And my youngest daughter is a Landscape Architect working in Orlando.

My favorite thing to teach second graders is reading, and I also enjoy the science experiments we do. I integrate technology into the curriculum whenever I can. I am looking forward to another exciting year of learning experiences!
