About Mrs. Allen
I have been teaching at Grove for 20 years. This is my 30th year as an educator. I love children and teaching and I can't imagine ever doing anything else. I am originally from Florida where I graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I later received certification in Early Childhood Education. I recently returned to school to earn my ESOL certification from Clemson. I will be teaching ESOL this school year. I taught in Florida for eight years before moving to South Carolina. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Craig, for 28 years and have two sons. Jacob is 23 and has started teaching PE this year. Daniel is 19 and is working toward becoming a personal trainer. We live in Powdersville with our dog, Stewie. My family loves camping in the mountains and going to the beach. We enjoy making memories everyay.
