About Me

I have worked in Greenville County Schools for over thirty years as a regular ed teacher, gifted and talented teacher, special education teacher, special education coordinator, and assistant principal. Although I worked in administration for several years, I joined the Wade Hampton family when I decided to return to the classroom. I love working directly with students, and I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a great school!

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, a Master of Arts degree in Special Education, and a second Master of Arts degree in School Leadership, all from Furman University. I have also earned the Gifted and Talented certificate endorsement through the College of Charleston.

My husband, Brian, and I have been married for more than forty years. Our son, Eric, has a State Farm Agency in Fort Mill and our daughter-in-law, Ashley, is a cardiac intensive care nurse at CMC in Charlotte. Our daughter, Elizabeth, is a teacher, and our son-in-law, Bryson, is an electrical engineer. We are the proud grandparents of six AMAZING grandchildren: Emma Blair, Bryse, Ellie, Emory, Ruby Kate, and Emmitt!
