About Me

Hi! My name is Kristin Adams and I am thrilled to have your child in my class this year! I am a graduate of Anderson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I also have a Master’s Degree from Furman University in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented. This is my ninth year of teaching and my fourth year at Plain. I have taught first, second, and fifth grade during my nine years of teaching. I have enjoyed teaching each grade, but for me the biggest enjoyment is watching children love to learn.

I am married to a wonderful man named Chris who is an quality & organizational excellence manger at Nutra Manufacturing (GNC). We have two beautiful children, Sawyer and Keeley. They are absolutely precious and the light of our lives! I come from a big family. I am the oldest of four daughters. My sisters - Melissa is a dental assistant at Ashby Park Density, Erica is a secondary education major at Clemson University, and Gabi is a 9th grader at Hillcrest High School. My mom retired from education after 31 years and now keeps Sawyer and Keeley. She was the instructional coach at Plain Elementary. My dad (step-dad) owns his own business in Greenville. My father worked for the Federal Probation Office in Charleston, SC. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I love to read, watch movies, going to the park, and play/watch sports.
