My name is Katie James. This year, I am excited to start my fifth year of teaching! I have taught 5th grade for 3 years in Greenville County, and 4th grade for 1 year at Plain Elementary! I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Anderson University.

I grew up in Simpsonville but currently reside in Easley with my husband. I am married to Daniel James who is the curator at the Pickens County Museum. We have a sweet little boy, Tucker, and we also have a precious bundle of fur, my cat Flutter. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and friends! I also enjoy bike rides, photography, and traveling.
