I was born in Greenville and attended Wade Hampton High School. 

In 1989, I graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Mathematical Sciences with an Economics minor. 

I worked for Procter and Gamble in the mid-1990's making Pepto-Bismol Powder. 

After that, I went to Converse College and earned my Master's in Education in Secondary Mathematics. 

I worked for a semester in Anderson and was offered a job at Southside in 1997 and have been here ever since.

In 2009, I completed my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Clemson University so that I can be the best teacher I can for the young people of Southside.
