About Ms. Gray

     My name is Ms. Gray. I taught in North Carolina prior to relocating to South Carolina. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and gifted & talented (challenge) class during my career. 

     I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Troy State University in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I earned my Talented and Gifted Certification from High Point University. In 2008, I earned my National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist. I renewed my National Board Certification in 2018. I earned my Master's Degree from Catawba College in Elementary Education. 

     I have two children, Lauren and Caleb, which I am very proud of. I have three grandchildren and I love being Nana. 

     Outside of school, I enjoy playing golf, shopping, traveling, walking, and spending time with family and friends. 

     I love college football and my favorite team is Alabama. Roll Tide!

Meet Mrs. Taflan

My name is Leslie Taflan. I was born in West Virginia but I lived in Myrtle Beach, SC more of my life. I married my best friend 37 years ago. We have two wonderful children. Danielle is a nurse and Alex is a pilot. I worked as a kindergarten assistant at Carolina Forest Elementary for 18 years and I was a library assistant for 3.5 years. My husband's job tranferred us to this area. This is my third year at Bryson Elementary and I love being back in the kindergarten classroom. I love working with the children and watching them grow throughout the school year!
