About Me

About Me

This will be my fourteenth school year at JL Mann High School and my nineteenth school year overall. I grew up as a student in Greenville County Schools. After graduating from Riverside High School, I went to the Honors College at the University of South Carolina. I graduated from USC with a BS degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Secondary Education.

I began my teaching career at Hartsville High School teaching four years full time and two years part time. My family was excited to move back to Greenville in 2009 when my husband bought a Nationwide Insurance agency. I have enjoyed my past thirteen years at JL Mann and know that this will be another great school year. Over the past nineteen school years, I have taught all levels of Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics.

I have been married to my husband, Gary, for twenty-three years. We have two children Sarah Catherine, a sophomore at Anderson University, and Parker, a senior at Riverside High School.
