Jane Reid : About me, education, experience and approach

I am so excited to be here with your Kindergarteners and all of the family at Blythe Elementary! I am trained in Orton Gillingham Reading Instruction, and am Endorsed to teach Gifted and Talented students. I am twice Nationally Board Certified in Early Childhood Education. This is my 30th year teaching! I hold a Masters from Furman and College of Charleston. I graduated from USC in Columbia with a Journalism degree. I am passionate about integrating subject areas with music, movement, arts and expression so all students are enriched and engaged. I have been lucky enough to have excellent arts training with the Kennedy Institute for the Arts and the Inquiry Approach through learning in many schools throughout the country. I am honored to teach your child. Blythe Elementary Is the Best Place to Be!
