Dear Parents:

I just wanted to take the time to introduce my teaching assistant JaDamion Ross. Even though Mr. Ross is new to Southside as a teaching assistant he is not to Southside because he is one the schools track & football team for the past 4 years. Mr. Ross graduated from Costal Carolina graduating with a Bachelors in Mass Communication. Mr. Ross when not assisting and coaching he volunteers with a nonprofit organization called BetterUConnect. He has a desire and love working with students who have emotional and learning disabilities. Mr. Ross aka "Nico" is very gifted in working with students with behavioral issues, and also is able to provide additional assistance as needed for students who are struggling academically and socially. As a result Nico has accomplished much with students as a positive mentor who always encourages each student to be the best they can be despite where they come from or the mistakes they have made in the past.
