Jeremy Heinold

About me

My name is Jeremy Heinold. I am posting this to let you know a little about me. I was born in Lafayette, IN and went to school at Southmont High School. I was a 4 year varsity letter winner in Cross Country and Track. I went to the University of Evansville and was a 4 year letter winner in Cross Country (no Track program) and graduated with a degree in Education. I then moved to North Carolina and have been a head Track and Cross Country coach at many schools. Before leaving NC my Cross Country team finished 2nd in the State AAA and we won the State Championship in Track that year. My family and I then moved to Myrtle Beach. I coached Track and led the distance team to a sweep in the 4x800, 1600 and 3200 at the Region Meet. Last year we moved to Charleston, I was the Athletic Director and Head Cross Country Coach. The boys made the State Meet and the girls had participants for the first time at the qualifiers. In June we moved to Greenville to be closer to family. I have a wife, 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter. We thought it was very important for them to be closer to their grandparents. At this time I am competing in a Sprint Triathlon. I am very excited for the upcoming season, but want you to know the key to a successful cross country season is a great base. The season will start late so you need to make sure you have a good base under your belt for the season.
