About Me
My name is Janna Reighard and I am a Special Education Resource Teacher. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! I grew up in Central Pennsylvania and obtained my Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. After graduating from college, I moved to Chicago and taught a self-contained special education class for kindergarten through second grade for 3 years. I then moved to Maryland to be with my now husband and taught special education resource for 7 years. While in Maryland I received my Masters in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. My husband and I also had 2 children, Adler (12) and Stella (9). In 2015 we moved to Simpsonville. I was able to be a stay at home mom with our children for 3 years and in that time we had a third child, Lila (6). This is my sixth year at Fork Shoals and I'm so happy to be part of this family! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and all things Disney!
