What We are Working on

Reading--We will begin with: The how and why of reading,  The Joy of reading, and  How do we encourage our students to read?

Math-- We will begin this year learning about volume.

Writing-- We will begin with Narrative writing with personal narratives as our focus. 

Social Studies--We will begin with Unit 1 and Movement from the East Coast to the West Coast.  How did change come about for settlers.  

Science--We will begin with how to stay safe while doing experiments. Unit 2 will begin with Matter and what things are made of.  

Please work on Multiplication and Division facts at home.
