About... Ms. Hunter

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education and Converse College with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. Then, I completed 30 plus hours of continuing education. I have been National Board Certified for 23 years. I received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching Math and Science in 2006. I wrote a book called Kindergarten Counts in 2001, presented at several state and national conferences, and published several articles. I have been teaching for 28 years and love every minute! I have 4 children. My oldest daughter, Leah, is engaged to be married in the next year. My son, Cole, loves the outdoors and is an advid outdoorsman. He goes to USC and is on the college fishing team. My daughter, Emma, works in Tennessee as a Cosmetologist. My youngest daughter, Addi, is at GMC. All three of my girls travel all over the United States competing is rodeos. I live on a farm with horses, goats, cows, kitties, and three little dogs.

My favorite flowers are hydrangeas, gardenias, and camellias!

I enjoy taking pictures and exploring nature!

My favorite goodies are fruit, dark chocolate, ginger ale, and nutella!!!

I love anything pink and purple with sparkles!!!

Candles and music make me happy!
