Meet the 3-5 Instructional Coach

My name is Stephanie Hydrick. I have been an educator for 18 years in three different states, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. I have been fortunate to teach all elementary grades with the exception of 4th grade. I began my career in a K-1 multi-age classroom and was promoted all the way to 5th where I taught math and science. This is my second year at Hollis as an Instructional Coach for grades 3-5.

I attended the University of Alabama where I studied Accounting but found my passion for teaching while working at the Tuscaloosa YMCA and spending my summers as a camp counselor in Texas. My educational career first began at Athens State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I have also earned a dual Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. I currently hold a South Carolina teaching certificate for grades K-8 and Leadership.
