All About Me

Hi! My name is Cayce Hoenshel and this is my 19th year teaching. I've taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. I graduated from Anderson University in 2002 as the top education major. I also completed my Master's degree in May 2007 in Educational Leadership at Augusta State University. In 2009, I earned my National Board Certification and re-certified in 2018. I was Simpsonville Elementary's Teacher of the Year for the 2009-2010 school year. I have been married for 17 years to a wonderful man named Gary and we have a first grader named Zachary and a 1 year old named Jack. My husband often says he is married to Snow White because I love all animals. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, going to concerts, watching movies, and watching football (Go Steelers, Penn State, & Clemson!!). I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! It is going to be a wonderful year!
