My name is Meghan Hewell, and I am so excited about another school year at Summit Drive! I graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with my degree in Elementary Education and became certified in grades 2nd-6th in all subject matter. This is my 4th year teaching here at Summit. I believe in integrating social-emotional learning with our state standards to empower students, increase empathy and connection, and provide experiences for students to discover their own unique strengths and skills.  When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my husband, Landon, and our two fur babies! I love reading (typical teacher. :) cooking, and being outside any chance I get!

• Shopping - Amazon, Target 

• Restaurants - Kairos, Chipotle, Lazy Goat, Chick Fil A.

• Tv Shows/ Books/Movies- I could watch Modern Family, Friends, or The Office for the rest of my life and be happy. They are my all-time favorites! I love any mystery book and science fiction/fantasy series.
