I have been married to my best friend, Jerome (Jerry), for over 39 years. Our love for comedy and laughter drew us together. Our faith in God is the glue that continues to assist us in keeping a well-rooted marriage.

We met in Savannah, GA, where I was serving in the US Army as a truck driver. Later, I started working as a Sergeant in charge of a petroleum-company's motor-pool. He would tease me about being a miniature soldier and thinks he fulfilled his military obligations marrying me. We were married and lived in Savannah for ten more years.

Our two sons, Eric and Kevin, were born in Savannah, then Jerry's work with Radio, moved us to Hilton Head Island. We lived there for nine years and enjoyed the island life.

Radio work also brought our family to Greenville. Both sons graduated from Mauldin High School and then caused a division in the family. Eric chose to go to USC to study Art, and Kevin chose Clemson to study Computer Engineering. So we are a house divided. They are both currently working and living their best lives.

I have been working in education for 29 years. Right away, I was attracted to computers and the computer lab. Every time we moved, I was lucky to gain more experience from working in various schools and labs. Now, I am truly blessed to be working with Mauldin Elementary's Mighty Eagles. The students here are very loving and caring. It is great to see so many students collaborating and helping each other succeed. I will work with your little ones to help them become independent, confident users of technology.
