What is Environmental Studies?

Environmental studies is a course that is designed to promote an understanding of human impact on the environment. The course includes physical and chemical properties, living systems and interrelationships. The course provides opportunities for student participation, research, field testing, experimentation, and decision-making.

My Mission

I am committed to students leaving my course able to appreciate the diversity of life on earth and how it depends on a variety of interconnected factors. I strive for my students to critically think about how their actions affect their habitats and plan ways to live their lives as positive stewards of the environment.
