Meet Your Teachers

I am a proud wife, married to my high school sweetheart, and mom of two kiddos. I have two dogs; An Airedale Terrier and a Dachshund. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Texas Tech University, and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Francis Marion University. 

I love reading, hiking, camping, and my houseplants. At any one time I am reading both a physical book and listening to a different audio book.  My family and I love to hike and camp. We have a SC State Park Passport and try to go for a hike every weekend. Last year we hiked 70 miles together. This year we are trying to increase on that! We go camping and backpacking on weekends and during the summer. 

I am married to my best friend and we have 3 wonderful children and 2 grandsons. I have lived in Travelers Rest for about twenty years and I love our small town. This is my sixth year with GCS and I love working in the classroom.

I love to skate, swim and shop. I also love spending time with my family. We always have a beach trip planned for every summer. I enjoy the mountain trips to TN in the winter months.

I married my best friend from high school in 2010. We have 2 beautiful children; an 11 year old girl who cheers for TRYA and a 9 year old boy who plays football for TRYA.  I have one dog names buddy who is 4 years old now.  We are very big on family time!

I like crafting, family time outdoors, and football. I spend majority of my time on a football field with my family either at games or practices for both kids.  I can be found sitting in my chair on the sidelines cheering my kids on.
