Class Expectations

My goal is to teach the students skills that will not only benefit them in day to day tasks, but also set them up for success in pursuing a career or continuing in post secondary schooling.

Student Expectations

  • Safety- Safety is the number one priority in the class. Students are expected to wear safety glasses at all times while in the shop or outside work areas. Students need to have the appropriate personal protective equipment items on at all times. Students are also expected to demonstrate safe and professional behavior while in the shop and classroom. Misconduct will not be tolerated.
  • Respect- Students are expected to respect the teacher, classroom, school staff and other students in a manor they would want to be treated. Students are expected to respect other students projects, ideas, and property. This goes for class and shop time.
  • Job skills- Students are expected to give each project and task their best effort. Taking pride in your work is a major component of the workforce. Students are expected to arrive on time and ready to learn.
