Meet

Mrs. Greenway

This will be my 32nd year in education. I graduated from the University of Georgia and began my career teaching middle school English and social studies. After moving to Greenville, I was hired to teach 5th grade, which I enjoyed for thirteen years. I am also endorsed to teach Gifted and Talented students. In 2010, I continued my education to earn a Master's in Reading/Literacy with a focus on ESOL from Clemson University. This will be my 9th year teaching ESOL in Greenville County, and I love co-teaching at Grove Elementary - Go Eagles!

My family moved from Athens, Georgia to Greenville, which has been home for 24 years. We love it here! My husband and I have a daughter, a graduate of the University of South Carolina, who lives and works in Greenville. Our son and his wife are Clemson graduates and also live and work in Greenville. We love college football, and our loyalties are divided three ways. Our only "child" at home is our dog, Dooley.

In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family. My favorite place to be is on the beach with a good book!

Let's have a great year building on English language skills with fun activities in our school community! I look forward to co-teaching with some fabulous 4th and 5th grade teachers this year😊
