About Me

Hello Yellow Jacket family, my name is Willie McCray, and I am happy to begin my second year here with you all. It is my absolute pleasure to be your 7th Grade Administrator this year. I am from a small town called Sumter, South Carolina, in the Midlands area. I grew up there my entire life until I attended the College of Charleston, receiving my degree in Middle Grades Education in 2017. I also recently received my Master of Education Degree in Secondary Administration and Supervision from Charleston Southern University. I began teaching Sixth Grade Science at College Park Middle School in Ladson, South Carolina, where I spent my first four years teaching, including student teaching. This will be my first year as an administrator. I look forward to the challenge of a new role, getting to know you all, and making a tremendous impact on our upcoming students!
