Classroom Rules and Procedures

1. Upon entering the classroom students will go directly to there seat and get ready for the day.

2. In the classroom students may sharpen pencils if necessary. Only one person at a time is allowed at the sharpener.

3.Homework is always due at the beginning of class.

4. Agendas should be pulled out this time and all assignments should be written in especially if there is homework. Even if there is no homework that needs to be written into the agenda so there is no confusion later on with a blank agenda.

7. At this time, the day’s activity will take place be it classwork, notes, labs, etc..

8. All materials as well as lab equipment will be placed back in its proper location. No student or lab group will be dismissed until the teacher has given their area a clean check.

9. Stay in your seat until you are dismissed by the teacher.

                                                                        Classroom Rules:

1. Upon arrival into the classroom all students are to go straight to their seats and remain there until told other wise. The reason being is that labs contain breakable items and expensive equipment. The only reason that a student may get up upon arrival into the classroom is to sharpen a pencil.

2. All students must raise their hand before speaking.

3. All students must come to class prepared with paper, pencil, homework, and any other essential materials for the day. No student will be allowed to leave the classroom to retrieve any of the above items.

4. Voices will be kept to a minimum at all times.

5. Lab areas need to be left straight and clean before leaving the classroom.

6. It is the student’s responsibility to copy down all assignments and make sure they are turned in on time.

7. Don’t talk while the teacher is talking, or anyone one else.

8. Don’t be a clock watcher. This means don’t constantly watch the clock and pack up early.

9. When I’m talking and you’re sharpening your pencil, pause until I am done talking.

10. Make sure to always use your manners. Please and thank-you.

11. And last but not least follow the three R’s: responsibility, respect, and readiness.
