School Counseling Services

The School Counseling Department offers a variety of indirect and direct services to meet students and families needs based on the American School Counseling Association National Model.

Individual Counseling: Ms. Edwards and Ms. Stukenborg are available to meet with students to talk about a wide range of things based on students needs. If you are a parent or guardian and would like to make a referral for your student to see the counselor, or if you are a student who would like to speak with the counselor, please use the Request to See a Counselor Form.

Classroom Counseling Lessons: School Counselors go to each class every month to talk about a range of topics. These topics are focused on meeting students social/emotional, academic, and career development needs. They may include goal setting, mindfulness, calming strategies, conflict resolution skills, and social/emotional learning.

Small Group Counseling: There are several different small groups available to students based on recommendation and grade level needs. Some topics include friendship, self-esteem, academic skills, and building coping skills.
