About Me

This is my 34th year at Eastside High School. I grew up in Greenville and attended Greenville County schools. I graduated from Wofford College with a B.A. in History. I completed a Masters in Education at Converse College. I received my National Board Certification in 2003.

I have been married for 22 years. We have two daughters. Our oldest daughter is working at a local aquarium store. Our youngest daughter will be a senior at Eastside. She will be in her second year of the Culinary Arts program at Bonds. Our family includes four cats and two dogs. We also have animals living in my daughters' bedrooms, which include three parakeets, three leopard geckos, a rabbit, and a couple of fish aquariums. Yes, we have a full house - AKA Zoo!
