Hello Everyone! I'm Michelle Belcher, and I'm the newbie on the block this year as I am coming to Greenville all the way from Pasadena, California! I'm more than excited to be teaching 5th grade this year at Woodland Elementary. It has been a whirlwind, but from what I can tell so far, Woodland is a very special school, and I am blessed to be here. 

I am married to my wonderful husband Jim, and we have four grown children; Jordan 24, Jonathan 22, Lindsay 19 and Meghan 17 years old. Meghan is a junior at Eastside High School this year. We love traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants and exploring our new city of Greenville. 

I have been a teacher in the private, public and homeschooling classrooms for over 20 years! I have my Masters in Education and LOVE learning ANYTHING and teaching students to love it as well. I take great joy and pride in seeing each student as an individual learner with their own unique way of learning, and I find joy in helping them to realize their own gifts and talents. I'm looking forward to making this year my best year yet!
