All About the Teacher

I attended Clemson University, where I studied Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education .  I also have extensive training with multi-sensory language programs such as Project Read and Orton Gillingham. 

I am originally from Savannah, Georgia. I came to South Carolina for college and I never left the area. My husband and I love it here. We have one son, Seamus, who is figuring out the working world as a 19 year old and two fur babies, Jake and Sassy.

My family loves being outside and around water - the lake, beach, hiking, etc. For quiet time, I love to read and do puzzles. (Sassy likes to sneak pieces - ugh!) My family loves cheering on the Tigers! 

I believe our class is a family and our classroom is our home away from home.  I strive to make it a place where all students feel comfortable.  I love to learn and have fun and hope my students will feel the same way!
