About your teacher
Hello! My name is Emily Everard, I am very excited to be your students 5th grade teacher. I have taught 5th grade for 3 years at Welcome and I am happy to be back!
I graduated from Russell Sage College with a degree in History and Education, I am highly certified to teach childhood Education (Grades 1-6). I was born in Michigan but I lived In New York for most of my life. Before coming to Welcome, I taught kindergarten and 1st grade in New York at a charter school and I assisted in 5th grade in California!
In my free time- I love to be play sports, stay active outside, cook, and spend time with family/friends.I am a Steelers and Michigan football fan!
