My name is Brianna Evans, and I have been in education for 7 years, all with Greenville County Schools. This is my second year at Blythe as the Instructional Coach. My favorite part of being an instructional coach is being able to work beside educators and grow alongside them as we witness student achievement.

I graduated college from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, making me qualified to teach grades K-6th. I also earned my English as a Second Language and Reading Endorsement during my time there. Before becoming an instructional coach, I was an inclusion and general education teacher for five years. I have taught fourth and fifth grade. My first four years were spent at Grove Elementary, where I was honored to be selected as Emerging Teacher of the Year. I also taught fourth grade at Lake Forest Elementary. During my time at both schools, I had many leadership roles that allowed me to work with teachers on different grade levels.

In 2020, I earned a Master's Degree from Clemson University in Administration and Supervision. In 2022, I completed Greenville County's LEAD Institute Cohort where I was able to learn more strategies to enhance coaching and PLCs at Blythe. Throughout my Master's Program and LEAD, my focus has been and will continue to be student-centered growth while coaching and mentoring teachers.

I am very excited to see what the 2023-2024 school year has in store for all of us!
