All  About me!!!

Hello Bryson Middle School students, parents, families, and community members, I am Michael L. Patz. I will be entering my third year as the Special Education ED teacher, and my first year as the Athletic Director for our 6th-8th grade students here at Bryson Middle School. I moved to Simpsonville from a town called Mashpee on beautiful Cape Cod in Massachusetts exactly three years ago.  I grew up on the island of Martha's Vineyard were I graduated high school. I then furthered my education and graduated from Salem State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and an Associate Degree in General Psychology. I am also currently enrolled in the Educational Administration Master's Program through Grand Canyon University that I will graduate from this winter. Prior to moving to Simpsonville, I taught  Science, Social Studies, CTE, and some special education courses at Mashpee Middle High School. My other passions besides educating our future leaders of tomorrow is coaching football, basketball, and baseball. I can't wait to meet all of my new students and their families!!! Very excited to work with and alongside you during the 2025-2026 school year!!! Go Bulldogs!!!
