About Me

I love being a Blue Ridge teacher! After attending several colleges in the upstate of South Carolina (Clemson, NGU, G Tech, etc) after my 2008 high school graduation, I realized I had no idea what I wanted to do. I spent the next few years working full time. It wasn't until my mid-20s that I put together my passion for literature and linguistics, my leadership skills, and my own enriching high school English class experiences to decide on becoming an English teacher. I graduated from USC Upstate in 2016 and spent an entire year getting experience from Wade Hampton High School before coming to BRHS. This is my 3rd year at BRHS.

My husband and I got married in 2014 and have two dogs, Arwen and Clementine. My husband also teaches high school English in the Upstate.
