For a successful learning year, it is crucial that students log onto Google Classroom daily and ACTIVELY ENGAGE in the assignments because MATH BUILDS ON PREVIOUS LEARNING. Implementing eLearning into a classroom means FLIPPED LEARNING and students will need to watch videos, engage in discussions on how to solve problems, collaborate virtually with others and complete the assignments independently as well. It is important for students to watch the modeling videos and follow along with notes before completing any of the independent or collaborative assignments.
As part of a good start please make sure that your student checks the weekly planner within this site on a regular basis for homework assignment, due dates, and logs into Google Classroom for the daily eLearning assignments. Students will be accountable for actively engaging in their daily work assigned on Google Classroom and completing and submitting all assigned work. We will be using McGraw Hill as our textbook this year.
