Meet the teacher

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited to be a Reading Interventionist this year! This is my sixth year at Greenbrier Elementary and my second year in reading intervention. 

I am a native of Anderson, SC. I currently live in Greenville, SC. I have always wanted to be a teacher. I started my career at Share Head Start, teaching K4. I started a new venture several years later: becoming a public school teacher. I received my Bachelor's Degree from USC Upstate in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, I was lucky enough to become a teacher at Sterling for four years. I can't wait to explore this new grade level with my new friends here at Greenbrier.

In 2020, I graduated with my Masters of Literacy from Clemson University. I believe education is a lifelong process, and I want to encourage students to be lifelong learners as well. In my classroom, I strive to make the environment warm and inviting to all, where learning is individualized and unique to each special child.
