I am so excited to be a part of your learning this year as your 7th grade ELA teacher!

I grew up outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I'm proud to call Greenville home. I received my bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and worked in higher-ed fundraising after college. However, after mentoring a middle school student, I decided that I wanted to achieve my dream of teaching English, so I went back to school. I recently completed my Master of Arts in Teaching in Middle Level English from Clemson.

I love reading and writing, and if I'm not inside with a good book, I'm usually outside biking, kayaking, or hiking with dogs, Juniper and Luna. I also enjoy cooking, taking pictures, traveling, and listening to music and podcasts.

Above all, I believe that stories are powerful, and your story matters.
