Meet the Teachers
I graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and worked in the oil fields of Texas and Louisiana prior to earning my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree! While in Texas I met my future husband, Steve. We have one daughter, Morgan, who lives in North Carolina with her husband, Jarrett.

In 2008 I earned my National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist. This rigorous process has made me more reflective about how children learn and more focused on strategies to reach every child. I renewed my National Board Certification in 2017.

I taught in Charleston at Hunley Park Elementary for 20.5 years. I have taught at Crestview for the last ten years and I love working in the upstate! My assistant is Sharon Depp.
